Multi-Purpose Wood Preserver
Ronseal Multi-Purpose Wood Preserver is a highly penetrative solvent-based wood preserver that provides long lasting waterproofing protection to interior and exterior wood. It penetrates deep to prevent rot and decay and it colours and protects interior and exterior timber.

WHERE CAN I USE IT
Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Preserver can be used on most types of interior and exterior wood such as window frames, doors, sheds, fences, floor boards, roof joists and rafters. N.B. Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Preserver Clear can be used as a pre-treatment and can be over-painted, stained or varnished when dry. Allow 24-48 hours. Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Preserver Oaks & Coloured are not suitable for over-painting, staining or varnishing.

DRYING TIMES
Allow 24-48hrs.
APPLICATION
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from surface coatings such as paint, varnish, or stain. Shake well before use. Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Preserver can be applied by brush, spray or by dipping. If applied by spray use a coarse spray and avoid misting. Where possible the end grain of the timber should be treated by dipping to ensure complete penetration. Two even coats of Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Preserver is recommended covering all faces, sides and joints paying particular attention to the end grain. The second coat should be applied when the first coat is dry. Avoid contact with bitumen, bitumen felt or mastics and plastics.Once dry, repairs and glueing can be carried out. N.B. Where timbers are suffering from decay, before applying Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Preserver, remove all decayed wood and replace with sound, treated timber. Cut out and burn all decayed wood at least 45cm beyond the area of damage. General Precautions: Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Preserver should be applied in well ventilated areas. Ventilation should be continued until the treated timber is dry. However, drying times may be prolonged in cold weather or if ventilation is restricted. Wash any splashes from the skin and eyes immediately. Clean up any splashes promptly to prevent staining.
CLEAN UP AND MAINTENANCE
Clean brushes, sprays or any spillage with paint brush cleaner.
