Interior & Exterior Woodstain

Ronseal Interior & Exterior Woodstain is suitable for both inside and outside use. The satin finish provides colour and protection for interior wood, without the need for overcoating with varnish. When used on exterior wood, the finish flexes with the wood to help prevent against cracking, flaking and peeling.

DRYING TIMES

APPLICATION
Start by ensuring the wood is clean and dry, lightly sand to remove any loose wood fibres and wipe off any dirt, dust and grease with white spirit. Allow to dry. Finishes such as paint or exterior varnish must be completely removed before application. For the best possible finish use a good quality brush designed for the application of water-based finishes. The treatment of a small test area to determine final colour is recommended. Colour may be influenced by texture, grain, colour, porosity, previous finishes and type of wood. Stir well before and during use. Apply using a good quality brush designed for the application of water-based finishes. Apply even coats finishing in the direction of the wood grain. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
CLEAN UP AND MAINTENANCE
Remove as much product as possible from the brush before cleaning. Clean brushes whilst wet with water and detergent.Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste coatings. The coating should be inspected on an annual basis. Recoat as appropriate.
