Ronseal Hardwood Furniture Stain is designed to provide superior colour and protection for hardwood garden furniture. The high quality oil-based formula gives increased water & UV resistance, and helps prevent hardwoods from cracking, peeling, flaking, drying out or discolouring.

2 are normally enough but untreated wood may need 3.
COVERAGE
750ml will cover 4m² with 3 coats.
DRYING TIMES
Touch dry 4 hours, allowing 8 hours between coats. Some oily hardwoods such as teak and iroko may lengthen drying times.
APPLICATION
Start by throughly preparing the surface.Make sure the wood is clean and dry, lightly sand to remove any loose wood fibres and wipe off any dirt, dust and grease with white spirit. Previously stained or weathered wood should be sanded then washed with white spirit and allowed to dry. Other finishes such as varnish or paint must be completely removed before application. Avoid the inhalation of dust and wear a suitable face mask when sanding. For the best possible finish use a good quality brush designed for the application of water-based finishes. Always test for colour on a small and inconspicuous area. Final colour and coverage rates will vary depending on the type and absorbency of the wood.Stir well before and during use. Apply even coats brushing in the direction of the wood grain.
CLEAN UP AND MAINTENANCE
Remove as much product as possible from the brush before cleaning. Clean brushes in water and detergent.Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste coatings.
