APPLICATION
Ensure wood is clean and dry. Finishes such as paint, stain and varnish must be completely removed. For rough sawn wood, use a stiff brush to remove dirt, moss, fungal growth and lichens. Weathered wood should be sanded to remove loose wood fibres leaving sound surface. Shake well before use. Apply liberally to all surfaces. 2-3 coats should be used. Allow 2-3 hours between coats. Apply to any surface cut after treatment. After thorough drying, glues, fillers and mastics maybe used, and floor or wall coverings can be laid / hung. Where required, finishing products (paint, stains, varnish or polishes) maybe applied once the product is thoroughly dry.
CLEAN UP AND MAINTENANCE
Remove as much product from the brush as possible before cleaning with water and detergent. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste coatings.
